Tim is a leading respiratory consultant in Northern England with a busy NHS and academic career. He is a lead physician in the North Lancashire / South Cumbria Interstitial Lung Disease Service and holds academic positions at Lancaster University Medical School, Cumbria University and Imperial College London.

He acts as principle investigator in a number of clinical research trials, particularly in the fields of bronchiectasis and lung fibrosis. He acts as director of research and development at Royal Lancaster Infirmary.

Tim studied medicine at Cambridge University graduating in 2002. This was followed by postgraduate training in South-West London. He undertook a period of research at the National Heart and Lung Institute in 2009 and was awarded a PhD by Imperial College in 2012.

Tim lives with his family in the Yorkshire Dales and is pleased to offer this new private consultation service in York to compliment his existing private practice in Preston
